Barão Vermelho - Álbum

When Barão Vermelho released Álbum in 1996, it marked a bold reinvention. This meticulously crafted covers album reinterprets Brazilian classics spanning rock, samba, and MPB—drawing from Raul Seixas, Rita Lee, Caetano Veloso, Luiz Melodia, and more. Produced by the legendary Ezequiel Neves, it became the band's first platinum record, selling 400,000 copies. Now available on vinyl for the first time since the original release, this album captures a pivotal moment when a veteran rock band embraced pop and found massive commercial success.
