Criolo, Amaro e Dino

Where does a chance encounter lead? For Criolo, Amaro Freitas, and Dino d’Santiago, it led to an album. What began as a spontaneous studio session in Lisbon, after “Esperança” (nominated for a Latin Grammy), grew into a full record that moves freely between soul, rap, jazz, funk, coco, maracatu, morna, and funaná. The result is a celebration of freedom, friendship, and African diasporic roots, with a lightness that comes from making music without pressure.

This 12-track LP is pressed on 140g blue vinyl. The edition includes a photo, stickers, a poster, and an insert with lyrics and an essay by Bento Araujo. Cover art by Vik Muniz.
