Racional Vol. 1 (1975) is one of Tim Maia’s most unique and celebrated albums. During this period, he became involved with the Cultura Racional movement, which heavily influenced the album’s spiritual and philosophical themes. Musically, it blends funk, soul, and MPB with deep grooves and powerful lyrics promoting enlightenment and self-awareness.
